BuiltAir Product Hire
Nosmotech offers the BuiltAir© Hire for short term indoor air monitoring. The package includes either the standard monitor or the integrated monitor.
Why Hire?
- Monitoring damp houses Devices on the market only monitor temperature and humidity- not suitable for professional use. It is important to establish that there is adequate ventilation and airflow in corners and throughout the area. The BuiltAir IEQ Monitor records all the measurements needed to locate trouble areas.
- Workplace area montoring. Accurately establish environmental conditions in the workplace. Understand and optimise the effectiveness of your ventilation and extraction system.
- New process, new equipment When introducing new processes or equipment it is good practice to understand how the working environment and surrounding areas have changed. A network of 4 or 6 Monitors can provide full data on the impacts on worker comfort and health.
The equipment
Standard IEQ Monitor contains sensors that monitor ambient temperature, radiant temperature, barometric pressure, light, noise (dBA + dBC), relative humidity, local airflow, NO2, CO2, and PM1,2.5,10
BuiltAir Hire also includes the necessary Router, connecting the Monitor to the BuiltAir Cloud with data dashboard, and allowing up to 10 Monitors to work together as a synchronised network.
Standard IEQ Monitor can connect to the Cloud with the Border Router or record offline in standalone mode. The USB cable and AC supply provide continuous power to the Border Router and the IEQ Monitor can be charged from this charger or any phone charger. The Monitor’s internal battery can power the Monitor for up to six weeks (four days if the PM unit is connected) or powered continuously from any 5 volt C-USB charger.
The Integrated IEQ Monitor is built with the Particulate Matter (PM) Monitor as part of the IEQ Monitor. The same performance, just a single device.
You also can detect Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC) with the IEQ Monitor+
The NO2 sensor, accurate to 5ppb, provides valuable information about combustion activity and oxidants in a building, or ingress from outdoor sources. The TVOC sensor provides trending, informing you when VOC concentrations have changed, important with commercial workshops where the ventilation system is exhausting solvents, resins and paints. Combined with CO2 measurements, ventilation effectiveness can be measured and calculated.
Period of Hire
We recommend a minimum of 4 weeks hire. Longer term hires can provide a true picture as conditions change in new buildings or zones.
