International Society for Indoor Air Quality (ISIAQ) conference 2026 in Singapore
John Saffell attended the International Society for Indoor Air Quality (ISIAQ) conference this week in Singapore. There were nearly 1,000 delegates and John’s talk about VOC sensors was well received. John was also representing Net4CleanAir, a European COST Action for air filtration, and members of CEN, ASHRAE and ASTM standards committees had a rare opportunity to meet and talk together. Most of the delegates were academics or from reseatrch organisations; they appreciated many of the features of the BuiltAir IEQ Monitor, including airflow and accurate pressure data for measuring ventilation flow rates, and the Thread network for monitoring multiple zones. Thermal comfort was a major theme at many of the talks over the four days and the radiant temperature, noise and light sensors, plus calculations of thermal comfrot parameters were seen as a unique opportunity for researchers and IEQ investigators.
